  1. I can’t argue with any of that. I don’t know why I keep playing. I guess because the combat, crafting, and world layout are kind of addictive.

Obsidian made F:NV. I thought it was adequate but unnecessarily fiddly and role-playish. Good deathclaws, though.

People are waiting to see what mod makers will do when the G.E.C.K. thing comes out. DLC will be the usual silly Bethesda “big side quest and adoptable kids” or something.

  2. When I can make time, I think I’ll start The Witcher 3. I say “make time” because I’m sure the cutscenes will take forever to sit through and I can’t do that with only a couple of hours available per night.

  3. The beginning of Witcher 3 is long, just like the other games. Be prepared. However, if you can get through it the game seems to open up wonderfully. I’m still in the tutorial which is pretty bad when you have to save your game in the middle of a tutorial because its soo long.

I’ve watched guy playing it a bit through Steam and the questing seems pretty in-depth and open.

  4. As far as Fo4 goes, Ive kind of stopped playing because of watching soo much of Sim playing I feel as though Ive beaten the game myself. I am thinking of starting over and just killing everyone to see what happens.
    Or at least the BOS.

  5. The problem is that FO4 easily tricks you so that you forget it’s just a GAME, and then suddenly you realize it’s just a game disguised in an open world.
I’m not sure what to do now, I found my kid (or an old guy claiming to be one) and I don’t feel like going back to the Institute, because the’re bastards. What irritates me is that during the visit in the Institute I learned about at least 2 synth doppelgangers and when I went to talk to them there were no dialogue options about that, I can’t even break the news to Piper so that she can publish a sensational article.
I’m just walking around the map making my settlements better and visiting all those locations I didn’t feel like exploring before.
